Institutional pricing is not published publicly.

Participants can use military evaluations, awards, training records, Joint Services Transcript information, education history, certifications, and civilian work history through the authenticated intake process. The program works with supported source types; it does not claim universal compatibility with every document format. Participants should submit requested records only through authenticated intake, not through the public Contact form.

Is everything extracted from a record treated as verified?

No. The program distinguishes source-documented facts from demonstrated capability. A training record documents that training was completed; it does not by itself prove workplace performance. An occupation listing on a transcript provides context; it does not independently establish a verified skill. CareerForma connects extracted information to supportable claims through a governed review process rather than treating every extracted item as verified.

How does CareerForma use Joint Services Transcript information?

JST occupation history, completed training, ACE credit recommendations, and credential mappings are used as contextual or qualification-related facts. They help participants understand how their military training and education may relate to civilian careers. These facts do not independently prove job performance, and a candidate credential mapping on a JST is not the same as an awarded credential.

Does a JST guarantee civilian college credit?

No. A JST may include American Council on Education (ACE) credit recommendations, but those are recommendations—not awarded credit. The receiving educational institution decides whether to award credit, how much, and for which courses. CareerForma can help participants see what ACE recommendations appear on their JST, but it does not guarantee that any institution will accept them.

Incomplete records can still be organized. The program works with what is available and helps participants identify what may be missing. CareerForma does not fill gaps by guessing or inventing information. A supported career claim is a participant-reviewable statement grounded in eligible evidence and governed support relationships. Claims are built from structured evidence, reviewed before use, and connected to the source information behind them. A claim is not a job title, a skill, or a resume bullet—it is a defensible professional capability assertion that a participant can review, approve, and use in career outputs when eligible.

What does a readiness or requirement-gap result mean?

A readiness or requirement-gap result compares a participant's current supported experience with a target role's requirements. Results fall into categories such as verified-met, likely-met, partially met, unmet, unknown, or not applicable. These categories help participants understand where they stand and what development steps may help. A gap result is directional decision support, not a guarantee that a requirement has been satisfied or will be accepted by an employer.

Resumes are built from eligible, supported career claims. Work history is organized around the participant's actual assignments, and factual bullets or summaries require supported claims. Participants select which experience, claims, and content to include. The program does not pull raw text from source documents and present it as career-ready content.

No. CareerForma does not fabricate skills, achievements, metrics, or work history. Career outputs are grounded in participant-provided information and available supporting records. Participants remain responsible for reviewing final materials before use.

Can participants review content before using it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Participants can review and edit output content before downloading or sharing it. Edits that go beyond supporting claims cannot remain represented as verified content. The program tracks whether content is supported, user-edited within support, or user-authored so that participants understand what is evidence-backed and what is not.

Interview preparation uses supported career claims as the basis for practice questions and example responses. The program draws on a participant's actual experience rather than generic templates. Interview preparation is practice and preparation—it does not guarantee interview performance, selection, or a specific outcome.

No. Completing training records that training was completed. It does not by itself prove demonstrated workplace capability or mastery. CareerForma distinguishes training completion from demonstrated competency. A participant who completes a course may be better prepared, but the program does not represent course completion alone as verified workplace performance.

In supported document-intake workflows, CareerForma processes submitted files to create structured career records without retaining the original source file or raw extracted text after processing. Structured records preserve appropriate source context and are used through the governed CareerForma method. This applies to supported document-intake workflows; it is not a claim that every associated record or all participant data is immediately deleted.

How long is information retained?

CareerForma has not yet adopted a single fixed retention period for all structured career records. Records generally remain associated with an active participant account unless deletion is requested or a program agreement requires different handling. Limited legal, security, contractual, and backup-related exceptions may apply, as described in the Privacy Policy.

How can someone request a correction, export, or deletion?

Participants can update certain account and profile information through their Account page. The Account page also provides an export of certain information, including experiences, education, skills, journal entries, and job matches; it is not a complete export of every CareerForma record. Self-service account deletion is not yet generally available, so deletion requests should be sent to privacy@careerforma.com.

Does CareerForma use service providers?

Yes. CareerForma uses service providers for functions such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, document processing, AI-assisted processing, and occupational or job-data retrieval. These providers support CareerForma's operations; they do not purchase participant information from CareerForma. CareerForma does not currently publish a public subprocessor list.

Does CareerForma sell personal information?

No. CareerForma does not sell participant personal information. CareerForma is funded through organizational program agreements, not through the sale of participant data. Service providers process information only to support the platform and program as described in the Privacy Policy.

Privacy or security concerns can be reported through the Contact page using the Security or Privacy inquiry reason. Military records may contain sensitive identifiers, including Social Security numbers or DoD ID numbers—participants should not include such information in the public Contact form and should submit requested records only through authenticated intake.
