CareerForma provides a Career Science platform that helps users:

• Build structured career profiles from real experience
• Identify transferable skills and competencies
• Explore aligned career pathways and occupations
• Identify skill gaps and learning recommendations
• Generate tailored resumes and career documents

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

Access to CareerForma is provided through invitations issued by CareerForma or a sponsoring organization. When you accept an invitation and activate your account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information where the platform requests it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. If your access is provided through a sponsoring organization, your use of CareerForma may also be governed by a separate agreement between CareerForma and that organization.

3.2 User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Maintain account security and notify us of unauthorized access
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not engage in fraud, deception, or misrepresentation

4. Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you upload to CareerForma. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, analyze, and process it to provide our Services.

4.2 Our Intellectual Property

CareerForma, including its design, CF-REM Engine, analysis tools, and all content created by us, are the intellectual property of CareerForma. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any portion of our Service without permission.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Claim experience, credentials, or skills you do not possess
• Use our Service to deceive employers or educational institutions
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or staff

6. Limitations of Liability

CareerForma interprets your experience using structured career science methods but does not guarantee employment outcomes, job matches, or salary predictions. We are not responsible for:

• Job search outcomes or hiring decisions
• Accuracy of third-party job postings or opportunities
• Decisions made by employers based on your profile or resume
• Loss of data due to user error or system failures

7. Disclaimers

CareerForma is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Career recommendations will result in employment
• All occupational data is current or complete

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. You may request deletion of your account by contacting privacy@careerforma.com. CareerForma may verify the request before processing it. Deletion is permanent once completed and is subject to limited legal, security, contractual, and backup-related exceptions. If your access is provided through a sponsoring organization, ending program access and deleting your CareerForma account are separate actions.

9. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of CareerForma constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
