Information used to support transition readiness.
CareerForma may use information that participants provide or that is needed to operate and secure the service, including:
- Account and contact information
- Military records and service history submitted through authenticated intake
- Assignments, work history, education, training, credentials, and achievements
- Career interests, target roles, and participant-created content
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the service
For a complete description of data categories, see the Privacy Policy.
Participant records are not public content.
CareerForma uses authenticated workflows and access controls to protect participant career records from public access. Participant records require an authenticated account, and access is limited to the account holder and authorized administrators.
Public visitors can view public pages without accessing participant career data. Role restrictions and administrative access are maintained through the platform's access controls.
Contact inquiries are separated from career records.
Public contact inquiries are stored separately from participant career records and cannot be publicly listed or read.
The public Contact form does not accept file attachments and should not be used for military records, passwords, medical information, or sensitive identifiers. See the Contact page for available inquiry options.
Protected connections.
CareerForma uses HTTPS to protect data while it travels between the user's browser and the service.
Scoped processing for supported records.
In supported document-intake workflows, CareerForma processes submitted files to create structured career records without retaining the original source file or raw extracted text after processing.
Structured records preserve appropriate source context and are used through the governed CareerForma method to support career claims, career alignment, and career outputs.
Use the authenticated intake process for requested records.
Military records may contain sensitive identifiers, including Social Security numbers or DoD ID numbers. Participants should submit requested records only through CareerForma's authenticated intake process and should not place military records or sensitive personal information in the public Contact form.
Career information remains connected to its support.
Structured career evidence and supported career claims retain connections to the information that supports them, helping CareerForma govern how factual content is used in career outputs.
Factual career content is reviewed and governed before use in career materials. This helps ensure that career outputs reflect supported experience rather than unsupported assertions.
Managing information over time.
Participants can review and update certain account and profile information through available authenticated tools.
For details about data retention, deletion, and privacy rights, see the Privacy Policy or contact CareerForma with specific questions.
